01 Objective

Develop part modeling and detailing skills in Creo through a precision consumer-electronics exercise.

02 Problem Statement

Consumer electronics demand tight dimensional accuracy and clean surface detailing to look believable at close range.

03 Design Process

I recreated key design features — body, display, camera module, buttons, and ports — with accurate dimensions, then assigned materials to different components for a realistic finish.

04 CAD Models

Full smartphone body and component model in Creo.

05 Design Decisions

Matched camera module and button placement closely to reference dimensions to keep proportions convincing.

06 Materials

Glass and anodized-metal finishes assigned to the display and body components.

07 Challenges

Matching tight consumer-electronics tolerances and detailing closely enough to read as dimensionally accurate.

08 Results & Outcomes

Achieved a dimensionally accurate, realistically finished smartphone model.

09 Learnings

Sharpened my attention to tight-tolerance detailing — a habit that transfers directly to precision mechanical components.
